How do van/truck refrigeration units work?
The working of the van refrigeration unit (truck refrigeration unit) are as follows:
1. Compression process: The compressor of the refrigeration unit will inhale low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas from the evaporator. It is then compressed into a high temperature and high pressure gas and discharged.
2. Heat dissipation process: Then the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas enters the condenser. Due to the reduction in pressure and temperature, the refrigerant gas condenses into a liquid and removes heat.
3. Throttling process: The refrigerant liquid with higher temperature and pressure becomes larger in volume after passing through the expansion valve, the pressure and temperature drop sharply, and is discharged in the form of mist.
4. Heat absorption process: The mist-like refrigerant liquid enters the evaporator. Since the boiling point of the refrigerant is lower than the temperature in the evaporator, the refrigerant liquid evaporates into gas. During the evaporation process, the surrounding heat is absorbed, and then the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant vapor enters the compressor. Repeatedly, the purpose of lowering the temperature inside the truck is achieved.
How to maintain van refrigeration unit (truck refrigeration unit)?
1. Check the refrigerant charge regularly and keep it within the normal range.
2. Clean the condenser and evaporator to remove dirt and dust.
3. Check the electrical system to ensure it is normal and fault-free.
4. Check the compressor and pay attention to leakage, wear, looseness and other problems.
5. Keep the environment clean and dry to avoid moisture and dirt affecting performance.
